On 19TH of December, 1959, the Chisso installed a Cyclator system and confirmed that the water has been treated through the Cyclator that it was safe to drink. The Chisso company led the wastewater that it still contained mercury was treated through the Cyclator system to fed the cats and caused the minamata disease when it led to fed the cats. The wastewater treatement had no effects to release the amount of mercury from the Shiranui Sea. The disease continued to spread in 1959.
In conclusion contained many errors: not just the Minamata Bay could cause disease, eating small amounts fish from the bay over a long time could also cause the disease. The outbreak didn't ended in 1960 nor the mercury removing wastewater treatement worked.
